This is not a factory style shaft, this is an upgraded design. It comes complete with new, maintenance free u-joints, carrier bearing, transfer case yoke, and differential flange. As always, our drive shafts are completely assembled and balanced, ready to install!
The factory Drive shaft is known to have carrier bearing issues. We build a lot of Aluminum 1 Piece conversion shafts, however some applications they are too long and have critical speed issues. We recommend on the longer drive shafts to keep a 2 piece drive shaft and upgrade to a properly built straight and balance drive shaft.
