This kit is a high horsepower kit, which includes a billet transmission yoke and upgraded center section
It is designed to replace the original one piece aluminum Drive Shaft
(if your truck didn't come stock with a one piece Aluminum shaft call us before ordering)
This kit features a complete and upgraded two piece shaft made with 3" DOM tubing, maintenance free ujoints, serviceable carrier bearing, crossmember and bolts!
These shafts are fully assembled and balanced, ready to install!
This is not a direct bolt in, you will have to drill holes and mount the cross member to the frame (see pictures)
You may also have to shim the differential pinion angle to match the drive shaft angles
No welding is required to install this cross member
This is designed to eliminate the aluminum shaft that causes a critical speed limitation and is too big. The factory aluminum shaft hits the body and cuts into two pieces.
This kit is designed to fit the 1500 models with 4 full doors and a short bed only

This year kit comes with a driveline that features an outside clip "1350" ujoint at the differential which comes factory on 1500 2WD models for the 07/13 years
Ujoint specifications:
1.188 size cap and a 3.625 outside lockup

Everything is great quality you get what you pay for! Super easy to install I did it in the street infront of my house it comes with good instructions. It also fixed the vibration issues I was having at 70-80 mph with the stock aluminum one piece driveshaft. I have a 2007 NNBS Silverado 4/6 drop 2wd Extended cab short bed.

The hardest part of installing this was the drilling of the four holes through the frame. I did it in my driveway flat on my back with a hand drill. Absolutely everything fit perfectly. I have experienced of a lack of vibration at higher speeds. Having the capability to handle the higher output from my future motor upgrades bring me peace of mind. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this driveshaft! 2011 Silverado 5.3 6 speed 2wd crew cab short bed.
