This is designed to eliminate the aluminum shaft that causes a critical speed limitation and is too big. The factory aluminum shaft hits the body and cuts into two pieces.
(if your truck didn't come stock with a one piece Aluminum shaft call us before ordering)
This kit features a complete two piece shaft made with 3" DOM tubing, maintenance free u-joints, serviceable carrier bearing, crossmember and bolts!
These shafts are fully assembled and balanced, ready to install!
This is not a direct bolt in, you will have to drill holes and mount the cross member to the frame (see pictures)
You may also have to shim the differential pinion angle to match the drive shaft angles
No welding is required to install this cross member

This year kit comes with a driveline that features an outside clip "1410" u-joint at the differential which comes factory on 1500 4x4 models for the 14-18 years
U-joint specifications:
1.188 size cap and a 4.188 outside lockup
