MUST BE V-8!! will not fit 6 cyl trucks (you need to call in to order a 6 cyl kits also YOU need to specify you have a 6 cyl truck as they are different kits and one will not fit the other)

you receive one item before the other its normal - we put a lead time of roughly up 2 weeks before they ship out

This is designed to eliminate the aluminum shaft that causes a critical speed limitation and is too big. The factory aluminum shaft hits the body and cuts into two pieces.
(if your truck didn't come stock with a one piece Aluminum shaft call us before ordering)
This kit features a complete two piece shaft made with 3" DOM tubing, maintenance free ujoints, serviceable carrier bearing, crossmember and bolts!
These shafts are fully assembled and balanced, ready to install!
This is not a direct bolt in, you will have to drill holes and mount the cross member to the frame (see pictures)
You may also have to shim the differential pinion angle to match the drive shaft angles
No welding is required to install this cross member
This kit is designed to fit the 1500 models with 4 full doors and a short bed or
extended cab with 6.6' bed - if your wheel base is not 143.5" then it will not fit!
(Wheel base is measured from center of the front wheel to center of the rear wheel on the same side of the truck)

This year kit comes with a driveline that features an outside clip "1410" ujoint at the differential which comes factory on 1500 2WD models for the 14-18 years
Ujoint specifications:
1.188 size cap and a 4.188 ouside lockup

Good shaft!
Great driveshaft, crossmember did come separately. Check on front page they did specify they go out at different times, I checked and was provided both tracking numbers.

2 piece shaft
So far I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and the overall quality of my purchase is awesome. Previous OEM shaft would give me vibrations approaching the 65-75 mph range, now my new 2 piece shaft makes the ride so smooth at these speeds and beyond. It also gives me the ability to go lower on my stance if I choose to do so!!!! Thank you Performance Driveline for a top of line product. Side note: installation was a breeze with the detailed instructions included.

Two piece driveshaft conversion
Great product! Arrived a little “box beaten” but in great shape inside. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone with a CC or EXT Cab trucks. Changed my entire truck. Ordered on a Friday, waited one week and installed on the eighth day. Takes about 3 hours to install. Will definitely use this company again when I do my single cab conversion.

Easy problem solved
Took about 5 hrs to install in our driveway on 2015 gmc 1500 2wd with 7in lift truck had been vibrating for the longest driveshaft solved the issue could not be happier great kit
